A little bit more about me:

I was born and lived in South Africa until I moved to Houston in 2019, and completed my Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston- Clear Lake. I have worked in a range of different clinical environments, including ABA therapy, neuropsychology, community mental health clinics, and private practice. I work primarily with adults and older adults, and my aim is to offer a comfortable, non-judgmental environment, where it feels as though you are working through issues with a friend.

I struggled with my own sleep issues for much of my childhood and early adulthood and know how overwhelming it can be, and how much it impacts everything when you are not sleeping well. I have witnessed firsthand how much life can change with therapy and techniques that help to focus on getting better sleep and taking care of your mental well-being.

Chantelle treats patients for sleep related issues at rhythm wellness

I specialize in interpersonal therapy, prioritizing the relationship between the client and therapist, and utilize CBT and DBT skills in my approach. I have primarily worked with clients who have anxiety, depression, insomnia, and PTSD.  I work closely with Dr Meers to provide up to date treatment on sleep issues. I believe in staying up to date with the latest research and providing empirically-based treatment that is tailored to help each individual client.

I am passionate about psychoeducation and sharing the knowledge that I have learned to help others better understand their minds and bodies for more holistic care. I believe that we all owe it to ourselves to take care of ourselves and prioritize our well-being. I am looking forward to connecting with you.

How It Works

Step One: 15 minute Consultation Call

We'll have a brief phone chat to ensure we're a good fit and to address any questions you may have about the process.

Step Two: Your First Appointment

We’ll talk through what’s been going on with your sleep, your current routines, and any stressors or health concerns you have. We’ll take a comprehensive look at your sleep and mental health so that we can begin crafting a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

Step Three: Your Treatment

We’ll meet regularly — usually weekly or every other week — and work together on building the tools and strategies you need to create real, lasting change in your sleep and daily life.
