Hi, I’m Jessica.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist & Expert in Insomnia & Sleep Health
A little bit more about me:
I specialize in guiding both adults and children through their sleep challenges—without relying on medications. My mission is to help you find restful nights and rejuvenated days.
For adults, I tackle a range of issues, including insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, adjusting to PAP therapy, hypersomnia & narcolepsy, and even nightmares. For children, I provide comprehensive support tailored to infants & toddlers, children, and teens facing sleep difficulties. My approach is designed to foster healthier sleep habits for all ages.
I’m particularly passionate about helping women navigate their unique sleep challenges—whether it’s related to menstrual cycles, pregnancy and postpartum adjustments, or menopause. I also address general mental health concerns like anxiety and depression, which can significantly affect sleep quality and overall well-being.
As a woman and a new mom, myself, I truly understand the balancing act of managing healthy sleep while juggling a career and family life!
I earned my Bachelor’s degree at Texas A&M University and my PhD in Clinical Psychology at University of Houston. I completed my predoctoral internship at Sepulveda VA in greater Los Angeles and postdoctoral fellowship at the Houston VA and Baylor College of Medicine.
In additional to my clinical work, I enjoy educating the newest generation of mental health providers and am actively involved in research on the treatment of sleep disorders. I am enthusiastic about spreading knowledge and creating hope for all of those suffering from sleep problems.
