Expert Help for Improving Your Sleep
We’ve all been there, tossing and turning, your brain won’t stop, and it feels like you’ll never be able to get enough sleep. Chronic insomnia is considered to be one of the most common sleep disorders, affecting 1 in 10 people. Our Houston-based sleep clinic treats insomnia and other sleep disturbances both in person and through telehealth in over 42 states.
Sleep Treatment Can Help You Sleep
You’ve tried lifestyle changes, changing your sleep environment, light therapy, weight loss, sleep hygiene, and even sleeping pills. Nothing seems to help you get restful sleep or improve your sleep quality.
It’s been so long since you’ve gotten quality sleep. You wonder if you’ll ever sleep well again or if this just how you sleep. You are so tired of being tired, and all you want is a good night's sleep.
It feels like your sleep problems aren’t just affecting your nights, but you’re exhausted during the day and your overall health and focus are starting to suffer.
Your sleep issues aren’t just affecting you, they’re interfering with work and relationships. They’re impacting your bed partner and your overall health. Your sleep anxiety has taken over.
Our sleep specialists can help you sleep at any age, from infancy to older adults
The Right Sleep Treatment Provides Hope For Chronic Insomnia
Most of our clients find relief and improved sleep in about six sessions. We use proven CBT‑I methods, helping you:
- You want to approach bedtime knowing that you’ll get some restful sleep
- You just want to feel awake and focused again during the day and stay asleep all night
- Ride out nighttime awakenings without panic or frustration
- You dream of getting into bed, knowing you will actually fall asleep
- You’d love to know what to do when you think you might have a bad night
If this sounds like you, we can help you get there.
Sleep Treatment at Rhythm Wellness Works
Sleep treatment through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia can help you get better sleep every night.
It’s the most widely recommended treatment for chronic insomnia, whether it’s happening on its own or it’s associated with another medical or mental health condition.
It gets to the root of what is keeping you up at night by:
Addressing the biological patterns that keep your brain stuck in “awake mode” at night.
Helping you learn how to address the thought patterns that keep you awake
Teaching you to track your sleep using a sleep diary and learn what to look out for
Learn relaxation techniques and good sleep habits to help set yourself up for success
Addressing other experiences or stressors (like trauma) that might be making sleep harder than it needs to be
CBT-I can help you get to sleep faster and sleep through the night more nights than not, for many clients within 6 sessions.

Quick Note About Insurance and Payments
Our practice does not currently work with insurers. All prices listed above are for cash/debit/credit payments. If you’d like, we can provide a “superbill” to you so you can ask your insurer for partial reimbursement. This is dependent upon your “out of network” benefits, and we will take the time to explain this to you well during our intake session.
We also accept FSA/HSA funds as payment. We’ll help you set this up before our first full session. Simply mention it and our team will get the process going on it.

Insomnia Therapy FAQs
-
Your body may be physically tired, but your mind can still be in a state of hyper-alertness. Our insomnia therapy in Houston and online helps break this cycle so your mind and body work together at bedtime.
-
Chronic insomnia can be fueled by stress, anxiety, depression, irregular schedules, medical conditions, or learned patterns that keep the mind alert at night. An insomnia therapist helps identify and address these underlying causes.
-
Yes. With the right treatment, even long-term insomnia can resolve. We teach skills you can use for life, so if symptoms ever return, you can manage them effectively.
-
We use CBT-I, a structured, short-term treatment that works by changing both your thought patterns and your sleep behaviors. This approach is recommended by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and is proven to work without long-term medication.
-
Many clients start to notice progress within the first few sessions of insomnia therapy. With our structured approach, most see lasting changes as the weeks go on. Every person’s timeline is different, but we work to help you feel relief as quickly as possible. Most clients no longer need support after just six to eight sessions.
-
No. Our insomnia therapists in Houston and online focus on evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Medication is never required, though we can coordinate with your physician if it’s part of your care.
-
General “sleep hygiene” tips often address the surface, but CBT-I targets the root causes of chronic insomnia, such as racing thoughts, bedtime anxiety, and unhelpful sleep patterns. This makes therapy more effective and sustainable than trying random tips from the internet.
-
Yes. We offer in-person insomnia therapy in Houston (Bellaire) and secure online sessions with licensed insomnia therapists in over 42 states. If you’ve been searching for “insomnia therapy near me,” you may still be eligible for online treatment with our team.

Rhythm Wellness is out-of-network with insurance providers. That means we don’t work with insurance plans. Thankfully, we can give you a superbill to submit for possible reimbursement. Many clients using “insomnia therapy near me” searches choose us for our specialized expertise, even without in-network coverage.
-
Every client starts with a complimentary 15-minute phone call to see if we’re the right fit for you. If we aren’t, we will refer you to a trusted colleague who is a better fit. If you are a good fit, we’ll schedule the first session. Contact us today to get started.
