Hi, I’m Mark.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist & Expert in Insomnia & Sleep Health
A little bit more about me:
I am a licensed clinical psychologist board-certified behavioral sleep medicine specialist. I am passionate about one thing: helping folks achieve restorative sleep. I specialize in helping both adults and children with overcoming their sleep concerns using tried-and-true therapies.
For adults, I tackle a range of issues, including insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, adjusting to PAP therapy, hypersomnia & narcolepsy, and nightmares. For children, I provide these same services in addition to treating general sleep difficulties in infants and toddlers, children, and teens (e.g., sleeping independently, bedwetting). My approach to care integrates the latest research with compassionate, personalized treatment, all while being committed to helping individuals navigate challenges related to sleep to help with mental health and overall well-being.
I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, completed my clinical internship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and completed my postdoctoral fellowship at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.
Outside of clinical work, I teach an undergraduate course "Psychology of Sleep." I enjoy contributing to the education of the next generation of clinicians and researchers. I also remain active on sleep-focused research projects to enhance clinical care and improve patients' quality of life.
