A Clinical Psychologist
A little bit more about me:
I am passionate about working with individuals, in English or Spanish, who are struggling with sleep and anxiety. My purpose is to help you achieve quality sleep and work with you to guide you back to a life that is aligned with your goals and values.
For adults, I tackle a range of issues, including insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, adjusting to PAP therapy, hypersomnia & narcolepsy, and nightmares. I support families by helping children—from toddlers to teens—develop healthy sleep habits and overcome challenges such as bedwetting or sleeping independently.
I draw from research and science to use behavioral and cognitive interventions that have been shown to be effective. I work collaboratively and compassionately with my patients to build individualized treatment plans that lead towards better sleep and improved well-being.
As a parent, I understand the importance of not only getting your child to sleep, but having your own quality sleep so that you feel recharged to tackle the challenges and responsibilities of the next day.
I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Houston, completed my clinical internship at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, and I am currently completing my postdoctoral fellowship at the OCD Institute of Texas.
Outside of clinical work, I enjoy supporting the training and development of future clinicians. I also provide clinical training to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows at Baylor College of Medicine.

How It Works
Step One: 15 minute Consultation Call
We'll have a brief phone chat to ensure we're a good fit and to address any questions you may have about the process.
Step Two: Your First Appointment
We’ll talk through what’s been going on with your sleep, your current routines, and any stressors or health concerns you have. We’ll take a comprehensive look at your sleep and mental health so that we can begin crafting a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
Step Three: Your Treatment
We’ll meet regularly — usually weekly or every other week — and work together on building the tools and strategies you need to create real, lasting change in your sleep and daily life.
